Brandywine RFC loses a tough match to start the Spring season
After a troublesome start both offensively and defensively, Brandywine was down 0-29 at the half - 5 tries & 2 conversions by Wilmington. Brandywine's defense stiffened up in the second half, only allowing 2 Wilmington tries. With 8 minutes left in the game, Bryan "Bucko" Confer pushed his way throught the Wilmington defense for a try, bringing the score to 5-39 and putting some points on the board for Brandywine. Unfortunately for Brandywine, the 80 minutes just wasn't enough. The final score had Wilmington RFC on top, 39-5.
