Borders bus trip to kick off the New Year for Broughton Men

By Mark Brown

Broughton Men's team start 2013 with a roadtrip to basement boys Walkerburn.

Head Coach has a strong squad travelling and the lads will be keen to get back on the paddock in what will only be their third game since mid October and their first since November 10th.

Head Coach Rhys Williams will be keen to avenge the 15-24 reversal at the hands of Walkerburn in the corresponding fixture in September.

Walkerburn have only won one game since and have faced a few point deductions for non-fulfilment of fixtures. Just like many games in the lower echelons of Scottish Rugby, sometimes it depends on who is available and what you have at your disposal to put at team out on the pitch.

The Bus leaves the Clubhouse at 11.30h and will pick up on North Bridge at 11.45h then the Commonwealth Pool at 11.55h.

A themed bus trip is planned - the theme is apparently 'hats'.
