Last night it was a entertaining match between two good footballing sides that ended in victory for Royston Town A, a 3 - 2 win over our Reserves in Senior B.
CUP were the better team for the majority of the match but were punished for not taking their chances and didn't quite get the rub of the green.
The visitors led 1 - 0 at half time before Lee finished well with less than 20 minutes left to equalise. Against the run of play Royston scored twice to take a 3 - 1 lead late on before a spectacular volley from Callum, his first goal for the club, with 90 seconds to go reduce the deficit.
The Reserves are quickly back in action as they host Needingworth United tomorrow night; before that the 1st team are due to entertain Cherry Hinton at the Cass tonight. Kick off is 6.45pm.
