March Town United Reserves 7 - 0 CUP FC Reserves

It was a tough evening for the Reserves who went down 7 - 0 at March Town United Reserves in Senior B last night.

March can be one of those tough places to play, but that's no excuse for a team that under performed and were comprehensively beaten.

The match was pretty much won in the 1st half as the hosts took a 5 - 0 lead into half time due to defensive mistakes. An improved 2nd half wasn't enough as CUP wasted some glorious chances to reduce the arrears. They could have been 3 up in the first 10 minutes but for Kienen's strike hitting the bar and a couple of misses.

The Reserves will be looking to put things right soon enough when we host Godmanchester United Reserves at the Cass on Tuesday (24th April) evening, kick off 6.15pm.

Before then the 1st team are in Kershaw Premier action twice - making the short trip to Cambridge City Development on Saturday, kick off 3pm, followed by hosting local rivals Fulbourn Institute on Monday evening with a 6.15pm.
