AGM: Constitution amendments

Note the following proposed changes to the constitution

The secretary gives notice of the following proposed constitutional amendments to be considered at the Annual General Meeting.

Constitution amendment: Membership category addition
Reason: To ensure insurance liability criteria is met.
Wording: 4.3. Those attending training or other club activities prior to paying membership shall be known as ‘Affiliate members’ until such payment is made.
5 vi) Affiliate membership
Proposer : Andrew Abraham. Seconder: Alun Davies

Constitution amendment: Addition of ‘junior coaching representative’ as Senior Management Committee officer
Reason: Initially co-opted to the SMC to give juniors a greater voice on the committee. This role would now become a permanent SMC position.
Wording: 7.2 Junior Coaching Representative
Proposer: T.Abraham. Seconder: A.Abraham

Constitution amendment: Addition of ‘bar manager’ as a Deputy Committee officer.
Reason: Following the construction of the bar it is important for a role to be formally added to the club’s constitution to reflect that.
Wording: 7.3 Bar Manager
Proposer: T.Abraham. Seconder: A.Abraham
