WEE REDS EXTEND UNBEATEN RUN TO SEVEN

The Under 15s extended their unbeaten run to seven games and take pole position in their league after this win

Carniny travelled to Mallusk play Ridgeway Rovers and set their stall out earl when Bailey Young went close after eight minutes. Then in the eleventh minute Alex Dael fired in a cross which somehow found the net, one nil. Then Young fired in a shot which also found the net to makeit two nil to Carniny. Ridgeway were dangerous on the break and only a fantastic save from Nathanael Hanna kept them at bay.Carniny had more chances to extend their lead but Young and Clarke failed to convert, half time two nil.

The second half saw Carniny step up a gear and made it three nil when Byrne scored. Ridgeway battled hard but the Carniny defence of Dael, Kelly, Duddy and Devine held firm. Carniny went looking for more goals and Byrne did just that making it four nil but Ridgeway never gave up and they did pull one back. Carniny brought on Conor Hamer for Farenden and McCaughey for Kennedy and McCaughey's first touch was a shot that grazed the post. Then on the 56th minute Alex Dael fired in a super shot to make the score 5.1 Carniny had another great change but Dallas just shot over then a McCaughey cross found Ryan Clarke to score Carniny's 6th. Final score 6-1 to extend their unbeaten run to 7 games and puts them on top of there league after a great all round team display.
