Colts were cock a hoop after the Cup win over Penley the previous week, and the good form continued as we recovered from conceding an early goal to comprehensively beat Llangollen and get revenge for a 3-0 defeat a few weeks earlier.
The visitors hit a stunner from long range early on giving Jack no chance in goal, But PHIL DAVIES soon equalised. We then took the lead
via Liam Hughes and never looked bakc after that. Elliot Bond had to be replaced after a groin injury on 28 minutes by new signing Tom Adams who was promptly booked for his first challenge!
But on 36 minutes we extended our lead via PHIL DAVIES again. HT 3-1
We continued to dominate second half, atnd it was no surprise when Owen Williams made it 4-1, tapping home after great work by
Liam Hughes. Then sub Josh Colecliffe ran through just before full time and fired home well past the visiting keeper to seal a fine win against difficult opponents.
Lots of Man of the Match contenders today but it goes to PHIL DAVIES who is in fine form at the moment, and scoring vital goals.
Next week sees us on the road to Poiint of Ayr.
