This Girl Can - Crusaders are recruiting!!!

By Jase Grant MBE

Crusaders, are on the look out female players to come and get involved.

As part of the Crusaders development plans we are actively seeking young female players to come and join the club with the goal of forming a girls section to the club.
Currently we have a number of girls playing in the U10's team and we have interest from a number of players that would help form an U14's team, so now Crusaders are looking to build on initial interest and are looking for girls in school years 4 - 9 to come and get involved.
Training will initially take place at Robertson Rd Sports Pitches on a Saturday morning at 10am, starting this coming Saturday.

The women and girls Rugby League game took massive strides forward last season, especially with the formation of the women's Superleague. This seemed to drive interest in the younger age groups with teams popping up nationwide. Crusaders are hoping to capture some of this interest and raise a few teams of our own.

If you are interested please get a parent or guardian to contact the club on 07969001028 or email info.crusadersrlfc@gmail.com we look forward to hearing from you.
