This was a right old arm-wrestle between the two sets of forwards, with the scoreline reflecting strong defence by both sides.

Chew Valley came out on top in a match that some thought could have been a semi-final or the final of the BCC - it was possibly the toughest game of the season for both teams.

The first half finished 0-0. Chew took a 5-0 lead with a try early in the second half, and that remained the only score of the match with both defences effective in closing down attacks by forwards and backs.
