A great turnout of Chippenham players and parents saw the boys beat Corsham by eight tries to three in mixed conditions.
Tries for Chippenham were by Joseph, Jammo, Toby, Alex B, Liam (3) and Freddie.
Chippenham went into the first interval three up with through-the-hands tries from Joseph and Jammo, and a more direct try for Toby after a spectacular counter-ruck clearout by Liam.
The next period saw Corsham come back into the game with some breakaway tries. Alex Boyd got one back for Chippenham.
Perhaps too many changes at once for that period had disrupted Chippenham and let Corsham back in to the game. At the second interval it was only a narrow 4 tries to 3 lead.
The third period was again dominated by Chippenham, with a particularly strong forwards' performance. Liam proved nearly unstoppable with 3 tries, and Freddie scored one after an inspired decision to go blindside off the scrum by Harrison and Freddie.
