Sunday saw a huge day of community action and academy games at The Quay 3G which began with nine junior league games which ran on the site from 9:00-12:00.
Unfortunately for the second week running our U13s were let down on an arranged fixture. This week Flint were unable to raise a side. We apologise again for this but luckily the side have a fixture this Friday and two teams in Sundays futsal festival also.
Our U15s hosted Flint Town United and fell to a two one defeat in a very high standard game of football. A huge well done to the three under 14s who stepped up and performed very well in the fixture.
Our under 16s travelled away to Walsall for another great pro club experience falling to a narrow four two defeat, with a number off great performances on show.
The weekend was complete with our under 19s recording a two nil win over Flint Town United in the Welsh Premier Development League to maintain second space just three points behind TNS with a game in hand.
Man of the match Joe Sullivan got the sides first goal with sixteen year old Jacob Barratt grabbing the second late on.
Huge well done as always to all sides for another great week of academy fixtures.
