Nomads enjoyed a very competitive futsal festival at Deeside Leisure Centre on a very fresh Saturday Morning!
A great chance for players to play a brilliant high tempo game against other north wales academies, Nomads enjoyed 8 10 minute games against the likes of TNS/ Rhyl/ Llandudno and others. A excellent morning of futsal, Nomads lost a couple, drew 2, and winning most of their games. Every single player played in all 3 positions (Up front/ midfield/ at the back) Liam Ellis and Iago Scott both scored some cracking goals, with Ellis McQue and Ben Cronshaw scoring last second goals to equalise against TNS and Newtown respectfully. Man of the match was Drew Hayes, Drew played in all different positions and applied himself brilliantly, never being afraid to take a player on or try a new skill, Drew was excellent all morning and a deserving Man of the Match!
