Cowling went to Halifax looking for there first win and these two teams have always been close in the table and results but on cowlings arrival to king cross they found out King cross first team had been called off due to the weather at Mirfield Stags so the team cowling faced was not who they had played before.
The quins playing five new signings and new recruit ex greetland player Scott Varley the cowling side was hoping for a better day at the office but with a one sided ref who couldn't call a forward pass if he tried soon showed again his standard by sending player coach Daz Greenwood off for ten minutes for asking about the forwards passes.
After 5 mins off Greenwood came back on to take a penalty out wide to help cowling get on the board but the kick floated wide but stand out players for the quins was Nathan Parkin,Simon Parker,Scott Varley and Danny Windle.
The Harlequins took this game just as a run out and a chance to play new blood but this week the challenge starts again when they face meltham all blacks at home.
