Quality defender will add balance

22 yr old Curtis Langton took a break from training tonight to sign the forms that will make him a Denbigh Town player.

Curtis is a left sided defender that can play at centre half or left back.

He was at Everton from the age of 7yrs to 19yrs and was part of the u18yr league winning side of 2013/14 season. He signed a professional contract at the beginning of the following season before being released in the Summer. He then played for Rhyl and Denbigh Town briefly under Gareth Thomas but has not played football at a high standard since.

After signing he explained that he likes the set up at Denbigh and quickly realised what Dewi and Matty were trying to do. He has looked at other clubs but said " I am happy that this is the place for me. I want to train hard and do my best for the club. Everything feels good here"

Dewi Llion said " This signing adds a bit more quality to the squad and that extra balance along the back. Very pleased that Curtis has joined us. He is looking keen which is more good news for Denbigh Town."
