Having gone in at half time 3 tries up; with break away tries from Richie Bray and Pete Davies and a forward worked try from Simon Wilkins This game ended up being a lot harder than it should have been. Saying that we only won the away game by 2 points, scoring 3 tries in the final 7 minutes, so we should have known our work was cut out for us.
With a player in the bin and some half time substitutions, Ashton came back hard and made for a nervous 2nd half. Ashton managed to get the ball quickly through the hands and through a very strong defence from Didsbury they only managed to score two tries in the corner.
We won as a team, tough but a pleasure.
We carry on our fight for promotion, with Oldham on Saturday 25th February.
