Just as they had been against Tooting & Mitcham United on Bank Holiday Monday, Dulwich found themselves chasing the game, but just when it seemed Hastings would hold onto the win, the hosts equalised, with all three substitutes playing a part. Muhammadu Faal played a one-two with Ashley Carew, before finding room for a shot on goal. His effort was parried away by Josh Pelling straight into the path of Nana Boakye-Yiadom, and the striker poked home the rebound to keep the tie alive. Dulwich Hamlet 1-1 Hastings United.
