Falkland Falcons Step Ahead With New Sponsorship Deal

Falkland Cricket Club is delighted to announce Step Ahead Tutoring and Educational Services as the new sponsor of the club’s junior section, the Falkland Falcons.

Step Ahead is a leading private teacher tuition organisation, offering the highest quality one-to-one throughout East and Central Scotland, and was established in early 1997 by George Hawkins, the Director, who brought a wealth of teaching experience, including headship in both the state and independent sectors, and, at that time, over 30 years of working with children and young people in a variety of settings.

Now in the twenty-first year of Step Ahead and after over five decades of working with
children - as well as involvement with parents, teachers and other professionals - from a variety of locations and social demographics, George's belief in the power of motivational, inspiring and tailored individual teaching that rarely fails to recognise the potential of all students, aged from Primary 1 to senior citizens, is stronger than ever.

In 2016, George was awarded the MBE in Her Majesty's Honours List - for his services to education and young people.
