After two home victories, Rob Hunter's side visit the Worksop Van Hire Stadium looking to record a third win on the bounce and end a run of four straight defeats on our travels.
The match comes amid difficult times for our hosts Clipstone, who are currently bottom of the table without a point to their name. Manager Ian Cotton resigned on Wednesday following a Notts Senior Cup defeat on penalties to East Midlands Counties League side Dunkirk, but was swiftly replaced by Jamie Hardwick. So we come up against a team who's players will not only be eager to impress their new boss, but will look to avenge our 6-0 win on Cedar Ridge back on 12th August.
Ryan Donoghue remains on the sidelines due to illness, however there's a return to the side for two players. Full-back Jamie Allsop makes a long-awaited return after coming off injured in the home defeat to Rainworth towards the end of the last season, and centre-forward Lee Turner is also expected to feature after being sidelined since late November.
Town enjoyed another big win in this meeting last season almost a year ago, when second half goals from McMurrough, Simpson, Hamilton and McCrum earned us a 4-0 success.
Join us if you can, hope to see you there. Up the Miners!
