First Team vs Knaresborough Town (H) - Tuesday 11th September

The Miners seek to put their FA Cup disappointment behind them with a result in the league against twelfth place Knaresborough.

Both sides lost ground in the table whilst in FA Cup action at the weekend, although Paul Stansfield's team won't be too bothered about that after triumphing 7-3 over Evo-Stik League West Division side Kendal Town to book their place in the next round. They'll look to get back to winning ways in the league however, after defeats to Liversedge and Bridlington Town.

Rob Hunter's team will aim to avenge the defeat to our neighbours in the last meeting between the two sides on 21st October last year. In a thrilling FA Vase tie, second half goals from Dan Coupland and Jamie Reeson cancelled out Knaresborough's 2-0 lead to take the tie into extra time, but they grabbed a 98th minute winner to progress at our expense.
