Press Release

By Paul Hepworth

Following on from the press release this morning it is regrettable to learn of the action taken today by Stags Ltd to terminate the lease of MTFC. The Directors of Glapwell Football Club sympathise with the management, staff, players and supporters of MTFC in this situation, and hope that the matter is resolved quickly.

Unfortunately we have not been able to receive any communications from Field Mill at present so in view of our own compliance issues and the responsibility to our staff, players, and supporters and in order to remain compliant with the rules and regulations of the Evo-Stik League and its competitions the Directors have reluctantly taken the decision to return to Hall Corner until such times as the situation is resolved. Glapwell Football Club will then review its own position accordingly.

It is hoped that this course of action will assist MTFC in their negotiations and removes any possible complications on their part.

We shall of course keep you all informed as to the current position as soon as we know it but we will be approaching the Northern Premier League to advise that as things stand at present our next scheduled home game against Shepshed Dynamo next weekend will be played at Hall Corner.

Regards
Mr Kevin Gee
Operations Director
Glapwell FC
