Could It Be 12 Unbeaten For The Gingerbreads?

By Simon Hayes

Tomorrow, The Gingerbreads travel to Stafford Rangers in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division.

“We love seeing our supporters reaction when we win” Club Captain, Stefan Galinski

Last Saturday's 2-2 draw against Barwell meant The Gingerbreads are currently on a 11 match unbeaten run in all competitions. The Gingerbreads came from behind twice in a match but it was the duo of Lee Shaw and Felipe Barcelos who again were on the score sheet. Lee Shaw has now scored 6 goals in his last 5 appearances.

Back in October a dominate first half display from The Gingerbreads set up a 2-1 win over Stafford. Remind yourself of the match here Grantham Town 2 Stafford Rangers 1

The Gingerbreads Manager spoke about Saturday's match "Like Barwell last Saturday we're meeting another strong and organised side. They're going to be in a confident mood after their win at Buxton midweek. But like I've repeated before if our lads go out and do what we know they can, we have a great chance of coming back with 3 points."

For those unable to make the trip then we will have updates on our social media pages, however they may not be as frequent as usual. So why not give our friends at Stafford Rangers a follow on Twitter
