It's a Lincolnshire Derby in the Integro League Cup

By Simon Hayes

Tomorrow, The Gingerbreads travel to the Sun Hat Villas and Resorts Stadium to take on Lincoln United.

The Gingerbreads current unbeaten run started with the 3-2 win against Gresley in the first round back in November.

Lincoln United beat Stamford 1-0 in their 1st round match.

There are a lot of recognisable faces in the Lincoln United squad with 15 members of their management team and squad listed on their website being former Grantham players.

Speaking after The Gingerbreads win at Sutton Coldfield, Club Captain Stefan Galinski explained that his team will not be seeing the match any different "We want to keep doing everything we’ve been doing. The lads all have the same attitude of that we want to win. We’re all working hard for each other and getting the results required. Saturday is no different.”

The Gingerbreads Manager Adam Stevens will have a few choices to make on who starts the match "The lads who have been on the bench in recent weeks, have done excellent when they've come on. Do I give them a start? Do I change a winning side? We'll see. Felipe is also back from his time back home. I'll be honest is a good position to be in"

The two sides both met in preseason with The Gingerbreads winning 2-1 thanks to goals from Lewis Carr and Danny Meadows.

If the match is level after 90 minutes then it will be straight to penalties, no extra time will be played.
