After Tuesday's home tie against Warrington being called off due to a frozen pitch, the Gingerbreads will be aiming to return to winning ways after losing 3-1 away to Nantwich last Saturday - the first defeat in eight.
With no games played since last Saturday, the Gingerbreads remain 6th in the league and are just one point off the play-off places.
Staffordshire-based Hednesford travel to the Meres in mixed form with just one win in five games, however they have only lost two of those games. Also a victim to the weather in the week, Hednesford come in to the game off the back of a 2-0 defeat at home to Warrington.
The two sides have already met this season at Hendesford's home Keys Park, where Grantham emerged victorious with a 3-1 win. A double from joint top league goal-scorer Lee Shaw and an own goal were enough to bring the three points back to the Meres.
Grantham manager says his side need to make every opportunity count ahead of this weekend's game: "The games are coming thick and fast and there's not long to go. We can't rely on other teams to do it for us, we have to do it ourselves. Starting from this weekend, we have to make every game count and get the three points so that we can continue our promotion push."
Tom Batchelor (suspension) and Luke Shaw (injury) are not available for the game this weekend. There are no other injury concerns.
