The Gingerbreads Go For Silverware

By Simon Hayes

Tomorrow (Wednesday) The Gingerbreads take on Bamber Bridge in the Integro League Cup Final at Leek Town.

The Gingerbreads will look to cap what has been a fantastic season with only two defeats since their 3-2 win over Gresley in the first found of the Integro League Cup back in November.

Bamber Bridge reached the final by beating Buxton on penalties. Since then they've lost 3 of their 4 matches, the other was a 1-1 draw with Prescot Cables on Monday.

With 2 supporters coaches, a mini bus and many more travelling by car, Adam Stevens hopes he can deliver the trophy to thank those that have supported his side across the season "The support we've had has been incredible, we see and hear the same voices where ever we are. On Monday for the last 5 minutes the only support you could hear was from our fans, and we were 3-0 down! We're going to do all we can to win, and say thank you"

For those unable to attend, then we'll be posting updates as normal. Also The NPL Show will be providing match commentary https://audioboom.com/channel/nplshow
