Jenny Wallace selected for ITU Age group World Championships

By Jeff Moorey

Veloship member goes from cycling on isle of Grain to Cozumel, Mexico !!

Having clocked up many miles with the Moles and the fantastic Ypres trip, Jenny continued with her madness by combining Swimming and Running in her training. This led to many miles in and around Brighton with her new Triathlon club. Once she had stopped the other members from laughing whilst she run through transition with one shoe on and one off. The 'Jenny Wallace' style transition improved over the next few months. Jenny entered the qualifier for the Championships held at Eton Dorney. In her words, she managed to keep the cock ups to a minimum and crossed the line 6th overall and 3rd in her age group.....Automatic qualification to race with Team GB in September. Just time off work to be authorised.

For those who are thinking where the hell is Cozumel..............A little island off the Mexican coast near Cancun. Hard life this swimming, cycling and running !!

Good Luck Jenny
