Scotland reached in 6 days

By Jeff Moorey

A Grim hill of 5 miles between Keswick and Carlisle went on and on and on ...

Mark has now completed 6 days and has crossed into Scotland, That grim hill he reports was also steep. His highlights so far is the amazing scenery which is always better in the sun rather than rain. He makes comment about the wonderful sight of Wells cathedral in Somerset. The next 4 days include the hills in Avimore before the welcome sight of John O'Groats.

Day 7 - Leaving Moffat a gradual climb takes you up over the Lowther Hills through some wild and stunning scenery you will cycle alongside the River Tweed before descending towards Edinburgh. A great ride through Edinburgh then takes you over the Forth Road Bridge and onto Kinross and Perth.
