Greetland secure funding from Calderdale Council

Club house cosy and warm thanks to the Council.

Greetland All Rounders club house is now nice and warm thanks to the generosity of Calderdale Council.

The club applied for a small Community grant from the Council to replace their existing heating boiler which had failed its last service inspection.

The application was straight forward and the Council staff were extremely helpful throughout the process.

Club President Barry Dyson said the following "Receiving the grant from the Council to replace our heating boiler was very welcome indeed.

Like most amateur clubs we are constantly looking for ways to keep the club running financially, it costs a lot of money to keep a club of this size going.

So when the heating boiler failed its safety inspection we knew it would be a struggle to fund a replacement. Thankfully Calderdale Council helped us out with a grant of £2000."
