1st XV player Jeremy Itoje ran the London Marathon in support of the charity Best Beginnings. He is supporting their cause and has raised over £2000 so far:
"By chance I bumped into CEO & Founder Alison and the best beginnings team in London and heard all about the great work the charity does for young mothers and families across the country providing vital support and information. Unfortunately, so many mothers suffer from mental health issues during and after pregnancy, but Best Beginnings is there to help along the journey." says Jeremy. A great and worthy cause.

Colts coach and part time 2nd XV player Iain Taffs actually ran his second marathon in 2 weeks yesterday, which probably gives him all time bragging rights regarding marathon running at the club. On 8th April he ran the Paris Marathon after failing to get a slot for London and then when one came available he thought "why not?". Many of us could help him with the answer to that!
Iain ran the London Marathon in a time of 4 hrs 34mins which is a fantastic performance for a man of his vintage and in his second one in 2 weeks!
Well done to both of them from everyone at Harrow for getting out there and doing it! Brilliant!
