Final Game
In the final game of the season Hartfield batted first and were in trouble losing skipper Jan Ball for a duck and both Fidlers cheaply. Opener Chris Turner made 28 along with James Murray Willis 21 and Ross Dyer 37 helping Hartfield to 114 all out.
Falconhurst also found runs hard to come by on a slow low pitch. Only opener Kennetley providing any resistance with 51 as Falconhurst were bowled out for 89.
A winning end to a good season.
Highlight of the day must go to Chris Turner for what must as the worst drop of the season. Although it could be argued that he didn't actually drop it, the ball was hit high into the sky, turner positioned himself directly under the ball only to let it drop at his feet.
