Haverhill Rovers F C would like to thank Haverhill Rovers Supporters' Club for their donation of £200 towards mini bus repairs.

“On behalf of Haverhill Rovers I would like to thank the supporters club for their kind donation of £200 to support the necessary repairs for the club mini-bus to keep this on the road” Ali Shulver

Haverhill Rovers Supporters' Club are delighted to have made their first donation with £200 being bestowed to the club towards mini bus repairs.

The mini bus, owned by the football club, is used by several teams within it, youth and adult, which includes taking several members of the club to the Women's FA Cup Final last Saturday, so when the Supporters' Club were approached by the football club they were more than happy to contribute toward the essential repairs that were required.

The repairs will benefit the players and staff within the club, making travel to games easier to manage and an easier and better experience for those involved.

“On behalf of Haverhill Rovers I would like to thank the supporters club for their kind donation of £200 to support the necessary repairs for the club mini-bus to keep this on the road” said co-chairman Ali Shulver.

“The mini bus is used by both the adult and youth sections of the club and is very important to the successful running of the club as our away trips can involve long trips across the eastern counties, so having the bus is a massive benefit as the logistics of getting many young players to games who do not drive can be a challenge, on top of the fact that, with the majority of players not gaining any financial reward for playing for the club, it’s a big ask to then ask them to drive their own cars to away games.”

“Thanks again for your support as this will be a massive help for the club.”.

Supporters' Club chairperson Danny Wakeling said that they were glad to help the football club.

The Supporters' Club was formed for those that were passionate about the football club and wanted to assist its growth, either financially or otherwise, with the choice of how any money raised or other assets would directly benefit the football club.
