Two more Newberry chances went close, Philp saving the first and the second going off target, before he netted again after 16 minutes, Kargbo and Newberry combining again after Kargbo countered down the left before cutting it back to Newberry, Philp was out of goal and defenceless with Newberry's shot deflecting off Sam Holmes on the goal line en-route to the net.
Haverhill stayed composed and pulled a goal back just two minutes later, Luke Haines' corner not being fully cleared and eventually leading to Perry Moody's mis-hit volley coming to Ben Bradley wo, from 10 yards out and left of the left hand post, put the ball between two defenders (one on the goal line) and past Pearce into the far bottom right corner.
The away side's patient build up brought dividends again with a 36th minute equaliser, the ball being headed to Bradley 20 yards out, who went across goal from left of it before putting his shot centre of the target the other way, low and into the bottom left corner.
A 20 minutes turnaround was completed two minutes when Haverhill led 3-2, Jemel Fox stealing the ball off right back Kye Jude before putting the ball hard across the goal mouth from 8 yards out and left of the upright for Lovell to touch over the line and high in the back of the net.
A further twist came on 44 minutes when Manor levelled themselves, Dewberry netting from a similar position and in similar style to his first goal to complete his hat trick before the break.
The second half was a lot more even, and tame, but the goal that decided the tie came with 82 minutes gone when a low shot by Dewberry from the edge of the area took a deflection on its way through, flat footing Philp as it rolled into the bottom right corner of the net.
Five corners in a row came Haverhill's way as the game drew to a close but they could not find a goal to take the tie into extra time, the denial of what looked like a definite back pass to Pearce in the six yard box in the closing stages summing up the away side's afternoon.
