TEAM NEWS: 1st XV to play Shelford

Hi All,

After a disappointing start to the season last week, we will look to put the record straight against Shelford this Saturday. There are some changes to the starting line, some of which are enforced due to injuries or unavailability’s.

Matt Hodgson comes in to the starting line up at hooker, as Luke Ellis has a shoulder injury, while Red Newberry reverts to the bench on rotation, with Dave Archer starting. James Keens is not available this week so James Kinsley goes back in the boiler room, with Jack Elston starting at blindside flanker.

In the backs, Kyle Lemon is not available this week, so Michael Sargent comes in at scrum half, with Jack Mitchell reverting back to the wing. Mike Rugeley also starts at 13, with Sam Walker on the bench and Rory Seymour, who was not available last week, starts at 15, with Jack Mann moving to the wing. Lewis Steadman misses out this week and will play in the 2nd xv.

The 2nd XV are also kicking off at 2.15 pm against Stortford at Hoe Lane, so if you can make it down early to support, please do.
