Winning the toss on the 1st home game of the season, Ingleton chose to bat on a fine looking wicket and despite the early set back of losing Kellett with the score on 8, the hosts dug in and built a score.
The experienced left hand pair of Fleming and Hughes used there learnings to wait for the bad ball before scoring, the pair rotated the strike well putting on 71 for the 2nd wicket as Hughes returned one to Bowler Ian Betley.
Youngster Jack Chamberlain entered the arena and after a couple of early set backs, settled his nerves with the help of Fleming and Mac to build himself an innings. Waiting for the short ball he rocked back and timed the pull to perfection dispatching Varden to the banking for 2 maximums.

Ingleton slowly got back into the game and claimed a 3rd wicket following superb teamwork as Josh Capstick chased down the ball, flicking back straight into the hands of Hughes who returned the ball to claim a direct hit leaving the visitors 99 for 3.
Cotton and Halhead saw the visitors home in the 38th over to claim victory by 7 wickets.
Saturday sees Westgate travel to Yorkshire looking to continue their improving form despite struggling for players. Hopefully Ingleton can learn from this game and start to challenge for that 1st win of the league season.
Saturday also see the 1st XI debut of Will Scott, having scored 61 last week for the 2nd team at Windermere.
