A Chat With Jules

By Simon Dickens

After a fantastic week for the club as far a cup action is concerned I caught up with our Manger for his views on our up coming games......read on

When I spoke to Manager Julian McCalmon he seemed pretty nonplussed by the situation to be honest, but as you all know he's a pretty level headed guy so my guess is there was some pride there somewhere in his voice as he gave a breif insight into our up coming matches with Didcot & Slough;
Jules said to me -

"Not to much to say really, they are just another two games for me, my management team, and my players. All of us know these type of games against Slough Town, FA Trophy and Didcot Town in the BFC League Cup, will be very tough tests for us as most games are at this level and above. As the manager of Kidlington Football Club I always remain confident in my team and their ability to perform, so on the day it's up to us to prove we're up for it. From a club point of view Slough coming to us in the Trophy is probably as big as it gets at this stage, they are a fantastic club with fantastic support so I'm sure it will be a great day at Yarnton Road".

After our 3 - 0 win against Swindon Supermarine last Wednesday we have been drawn to play Didcot Town at Yarnton Road Stadium the match will take place on Wednesday 8th November with a 7:45 pm kick off.
After our 3 - 1 win against Winchester City last Saturday we will now play Slough Town at Yarnton Road Stadium on Saturday 28th October, kick off 3:00pm.
