Lancashire Trophy ~ First round~31st August. Ko 15:00
Leigh RUFC welcome Old Aldwinians to Round Ash Park on Saturday 31st August for the first round of the Lancashire Trophy.
Its been several years since the last game between two teams that used to play each other regularly, although the association between the clubs has carried on at lower team and junior level.
Aldwinians have enjoyed success at Twickenhan and have fared well in the league over the past few seasons.
They will however, be keen to do even better this season to get themselves into North1West and reduce their visits to Cumbria.
The Lancashire trophy is the first competitive game of the season for both teams and we look forward to a keenly contested match.
