A time to reflect...

As the dust settles on what can only be described as a truly fantastic week for the football club it is only right that we take time to reflect on the reason why we are all here today. Two years ago we lost our founder and chairman, Ken Cherry - a remarkable man who had put his heart and soul into the club since its formation in 1966. Ken had an unrivalled passion for 'his' football club and took great pride in everything that it achieved.

Ken would have been extremely proud of the achievements of the 1st XI squad this season. There is no doubt that he has been looking down and following our success all season and would have been celebrating with us all on Saturday afternoon.

Thank you to Russell, Chris, Wes and all of the players for a truly remarkable season, the effort, commitment and dedication from you all has been phenomenal.
