Dewar Shield / Plate/ Bowl Schools Update

In the Dewar Shield, Pontypridd Schools Under 15s kicked off the tournament with an excellent 55-7 win over their Swansea counterparts at Sardis Road. A big crowd gathered at the House of Pain which included many school children who had taken part in Pontypridd RFC's first rugby festival earlier in the day.
Champions Rhondda Schools continued where they left off as they grounded out a very good 17-0 away win at Llanelli Schools.

In the Dewar (Lawrence Miller) Bowl, Rhymney Valley Schools started their campaign in impressive form as they beat a battling Aberavon Schools 27-0 at home.
We are still awaiting confirmation of the Merthyr versus South Powys result.

In the Dewar (Morgan Griffiths) Plate, Cynon Valley Schools Under 15s come out on top in a real tense affair at Mynedd Mawr & Dinefwr. The visitors took the spoils with a 17-14 victory.

The next round of games take place on the weekend of the 13/14/15th October.
