Clean sweep of honours in the Norwich Junior League!

By Karen Webb

With the postponed fixtures now all played, the final placings have been announced!

It's been another cold outside winter league but the girls netball has at least kept them warm and enthused!

A huge thanks to all our coaches, umpires and parents who give up their Thursday evenings to make sure our developing netballers can compete!

What a great set of results - well done everyone!

The Norwich Junior League continues to be the only source of junior club competition in this county and is heavily dominated by our Norfolk United junior development centre squads.

Our team of coaches put an enormous amount of time into grassroots netball where our ethos is around participation, enjoyment, building friendships and developing our athletes as people. Success is measured in different ways and results are a by-product of the process and environment we create.

By the age of 12, many of our aspiring athletes are already training within the NCNA satellite programme. And at the age of just 13/14, the junior league loses the participation of those in the NCNA county squad when training and match day clashes.

Ever wish there were a 10 day week just for netball....?
