WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING

CLUBHOUSE: An offer has now been received from sportscotland of £45k to be financed from the Scottish rugby cash back from Crime fund. This has been accepted on behalf of the club. Jim and Brian met on 7th September with Grant Duncan the sportscotland project manager who will work with us regards the delivery of Clubhouse Development Phase 11. The Development Committee lead by Paul Devine met last Wednesday and the availability of the balance of the funding of circa £60k that is required is being re specified. In addition an application for an element revenue grant funding was made to East Lothian Council (ELC) in March. Contact was made with Tom Shearer in July who is supportive & it is hoped that this will be considered favourably in September/October after the councils mid year recess.Further Landfill tax credit funding applications for Phase 111 are on hold.
