Pennine order second league re-shuffle

By Jared Priestley

ODSAL Sedbergh will complete their season in the Championship One West Division following yet another Pennine League re-shuffle.

Due to the amount of games some clubs in The Championship One Division have remaining this season, the Pennine League Management has take the action to split the division into an East and West format.

Contesting the Championship One East Division will be;

Allerton Bywater
Bentley Good Companions
Brotherton Bulldogs
Doncaster Toll Bar
New Earswick All Blacks

The West Division will comprise of;
Batley Bulldogs
King Cross Park
Morley Borough
Newsome Panthers
Odsal Sedbergh
St Josephs

Clubs will carry their results forward into the new divisions from games played earlier in the season involving clubs from their own respective new division.

This is likely to mean that yet again Odsal will lose the two league points they have on the board – due to Brotherton Bulldogs competing in the East Division.

It marks a second re-shuffle of the Championship One Division following the earlier Premier debacle which saw a number of new teams join the second tier.

Changes have been made for this weekend's fixtures involving these clubs to accommodate the changes.

Despite the change, Odsal's Saturday fixture remains the same, with a relegation crunch match at King Cross Park's Savile Park.

The new divisional tables will be amended shortly once the hosts Pitchero have made the necessary changes.
