Jeremy Wares' is Scottish Rugby's Volunteer of the Month for August / September

Perthshire Rugby is delighted to announce that dedicated volunteer, coach, supporter and fundraiser, Jeremy Wares, has been awarded Tennent's Volunteer of the Month by Scottish Rugby.

The club nominated Jeremy for his personal dedication & efforts to support our activities and fundraising during 2018 in particular supporting Perth Beer Festival and preparations and corporate hospitality at the Glasgow Warriors v Harlequins game.

The award was presented to Jeremy at Perthshire Rugby's 150th Anniversary Gala Dinner by former Scotland captain, Rory Lawson. Rory said the spirit of the club was reflected in the presentation of Scottish Rugby volunteer of the month award to Jeremy.

Scottish Rugby made the following comments in relation to Jeremy receiving this award, "The panel were really impressed by how much work you do for Perthshire Rugby, and we are extremely thankful for volunteers like yourself keeping clubs going day by day".
