Perthshire Rugby 150 Memorabilia Compilation & Archive

By Natalie Mackinnon

Let's document our Club's history for future generations

A dedicated team of Perthshire Rugby volunteers has taken on the monumental challenge of collating, documenting and building an archive of members' Perthshire Rugby memorabilia from throughout our 150 year history.

The team, led by Bob Bruce, initially plans to collate all known items from current and former Perthshire Rugby club contacts to create a timeline display to showcase the club's history of rugby in Perth later in our 150th year. The output may later extend to a printed publication dependent on the volume, quantity and quality of material collated and purchase interest. All records created will be archived and stored for use by future generations.

Bob Bruce has kindly agreed to be the lead contact for the collation of items. Items of memorabilia can be submitted to Bob by the following means:

*Please scan the document to a high resolution (colour if possible) and email to Bob directly bb@glentonbruce.com , please clearly mark the file name and in the email provide the details of the owner (name, email, address, tel number) and any known background information regarding the item. or,

*Please send / deliver in person to Bob Bruce, Chapelhill Lodge, Logiealmond, PH1 3TH.
Please clearly mark the item with enclosure as to the details of the owner (name, email, address, tel number) and any known background information regarding the item. Please also send by recorded delivery should you wish to secure the document's safe arrival.

Ownership and Copyright Consent
Perthshire Rugby politely requests that all items shared with the 150 Memorabilia Team are shared with the explicit permission and consent from the current owner for Perthshire Rugby to scan, store, copy and publish any items in print and digital formats. If original sources are known (e.g. newspaper), please could these also be indicated in order that original copyright owner is known.

We thank Bob and the team for their interest and look forward to the opportunity to review the output.
