REMYCA sign Longrigg

By David Brindle

Goalkeeper joins the REMY

Litherland REMYCA are pleased to announce the signing of Stephen Longrigg from City of Liverpool.

Longrigg, who faced REMY three times last season, joins immediately but is unavailable for selection until January.

The goalkeeper will bring a lot of experience to the squad, both on and off the field, and will help boost Ben Morrow.

His new manager Paul McNally said, "He is not available until January for us so he won’t make an impact straight away.

"Ste brings experience which will help Ben develop his game and also provide us with possibly the 2 best keepers in this league".

Secretary Dave Evans added, "Stephen is a top keeper who helped COL to a fantastic season in winning trophies.

"He will bring a great mentality to the REMY squad and will help Ben reach new levels after he has had a great start to the current season".

Welcome to the club, Ste!
