Sheffield Ladies RUFC vs. Supermarine Ladies RUFC

Sheffield Ladies welcome Supermarine Ladies to Abbeydale this Sunday. Their first league game since December 9th following the postponement of their pre-Christmas fixture against Novocastrians.

Sheff find themselves 6th in the table, following an inconsistent first half of the season. However, performances of late have shown real promise and improvement, with an increased physicality at the forefront of a new, more abrasive, style of play.

Supermarines are a place and just three points above Sheffield, but have played a game more. Their season showing much of the same inconsistencies as Sheffield, however, an impressive 20-5 victory over Barnsley last time out will see them travel to Abbeydale with a renewed confidence.

A hard fought 27-17 win over Sheff the last time these two met adds to the sense that this one will be a tight contest.

Not one to be missed! 2.00pm on Sunday, Abbeydale is the place to be!
