Shirebrook were on the back foot from the get go with the visitors causing problems for the Shirebrook defense and in the 15th minute the deadlock was broken the assistant ref had his flag as Liam Radford put the ball in the net and after a conversation with the ref he was over ruled and the goal was given much to the annoyance of the Shirebrook players but as the half wore on Shirebrook grew into the game but couldn't take any of the chances that fell there way and left themselves with a lot to do in the second half.

Shirebrook were much better at the start of the second half with Declan Brewin and Jermaine Jatau both having chances early on in the half but they couldn't hit the target but Shirebrook kept pushing with chances coming and going for Brewin, Williams, Widdowson and Homer but again Armthorpe managed to keep everything out and see out the game to claim the points.

Shirebrook are in FA Vase next Saturday as Long Eaton United visit Langwith Road 3pm ko
