Skipton Seniors bolster its Coaching Ranks

Senior Rugby at Skipton for 2017/18 has taken another positive step today.

Coaching at Skipton will be undertaken by a Management Group who have been long servants of Skipton RFC.

Head Coach Craig Bartlett is very pleased to announce that Matty Wilson and Ryan Binner will be assisting with coaching the 1st team, they are stalwarts of the club, and will use their experience to build on the success that Skipton's pack experienced last season as they mount their challenge for Yorkshire 3.

To enable that the pipeline of great talent continues to be developed it is fantastic to see that Skipton’s 2nd Team will be managed and coached by Brian Brocksom and Lee Shaw, with Lee being captain on the team. With Brocky and Lee still both playing they will be able to develop those young developing players, along with those who are about to make the progression into the 1st team. It goes without saying that these two are doing wonders through the work being done with O2 Touch, the benefits will begin to filter through in the future. And finally with Rugby Tots Lee again is making inroads into assisting our pipeline of minis so that our junior section will be strong and stable.

Whoever joins Skipton our aim will be to induct them into what makes Skipton a fantastic club to play at, whether it be mini's, juniors, colts or seniors.
