Stowmarket currently has two teams who compete in leagues, with a Veterans team who play some fixtures throughout the year, including an annual Christmas holiday fixture against Thurston RFC for the Veterans Trophy.
Our 2nd XV play in the Greene King Counties 1 (South) league across the Eastern Counties of Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, & Cambs , competing in fixtures on a Saturday throughout the season

Stowmarket has a reputation for playing fast and ambitious Rugby which excites supporters and creates an enjoyable playing environment for the players involved. We are a community driven club which embraces all players of all abilities and supports their development. A strong and committed coaching staff setup allows all players to develop their skills and abilities alongside maximising their enjoyment at every training session and match.

The club is supported by a strong core of supporters who make the atmosphere at home fixtures a truly unique experience. We host a number of special lunches throughout the year to bring our community together. There is a purpose built players lounge for post match socials, and there are always social events taking place throughout the year for players and past players to enjoy.

Come and find out for yourself what makes Stowmarket RFC so special! Training takes place on a Tuesday & Thursday evening at Chilton Fields (IP14 1SZ) from 19:00 - 20:30. All players are welcome!
