Grantham Town Preview

By SCT FC

Table topping Grantham Town visit Coles Lane tomorrow.

Assistant boss Neil Tooth says the players hold no fear about tomorrows game as they look to restore some pride in what has been a season to forget. "Last week was the final nail in the coffin for our play off chances" said Toothy, "Loughborough were a team we needed to beat and another 10 minutes of madness has cost us. I sat the lads down on Tuesday and told them that from now until the end of the season they have to be professional and do things right. We have all massively under achieved this season but we can still have a massive say on who gets promoted this season".

Asked about Grantham Toothy said, "I expect them to win the league and I think they deserve too. Jimmy and Wayne have built a strong squad over the last 2 seasons and they have been able to pick pretty much the same 11 on a consistent basis and at any level thats half the battle. They will know what to expect from us though and we wont make it easy for them to come and get 3 points. I would imagine a lot of teams shut up shop against them but I can assure you we will be going for a win and setting up to attack them."

Not for the first time this season the Royals are struggling with injuries but Toothy said this will not make any difference tomorrow, "Jay J and Parso missed training last night and are both struggling for the game but we are used to it by now. Its been a shocking season for injuries but what can we do. What it does do is give some of the young lads a chance and what better way to test themselves than against the league leaders".

Where next?

3 Depart Chris Keogh has let 3 players leave ahead of the visit of Grantham Town.
