Walsall Win Both Matches

Despite a small squad Walsall won comfortably against a well organized Burton Team.

Burton very kindly loaned Walsall 6 players so that two separate matched could be played.

This was the first match of the season and following 5 weeks of training the first opportunity to scruimmage, ruck and maul. Both teams did very well and showed excellent skills.

Whilst Burton had numerical advantage Walsall's skills, speed and defence were too much for Burton and Walsall ran out comfortable winners.

Arun and Luke both did very well in what was their first competitive game.

Brandon was a mighty presence and made several barnstorming runs carrying the Burton tacklers with him. Well done.

An excellent win and great preparation for Tamworth next week.
