Off the back of a 9 game winning streak Waverley were well and truly trounced by Odiham and Greywell on Saturday. Batting first, the home side were soon one down but this brought a partnership of 180 between Thomas and Munt. The visitors had chances and both were dropped once before going on to make 100 each. Once they had left the field, Waverley at least took some wickets and made the scoreboard look a touch more respectable. After tea Odiham went on the offensive again and Waverley had no answer to Hartnett and Smee in particular who bowled superbly moving the ball off the seam in both directions. Waverley made token runs but were never in the hunt and were skittled out in less than 20 overs.
